Industrial Design Internship

EWI Worldwide is a privately owned company driven by an entrepreneurial culture of innovative craftsmanship that started in our shop and design studio and has evolved into all aspects of our business, including strategy, creative, technology, production and event services. We combine the physical with the digital, creating live experiences that connect brands more personally with their targeted audiences. Industrial Design Internship:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Industrial Design intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in exhibit design while working on exciting projects alongside experienced professionals. The selected candidate will have the chance to contribute to all stages of the design process and assist in bringing our clients' visions to life.

At EWI Worldwide we create engaging and immersive experiences within physical spaces such as trade shows and other exhibition venues.  Our primary goal is to design layouts and environments that effectively communicate information, tell stories, evoke emotions, and engage the audience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with exhibit designers to develop conceptual designs and layouts for upcoming projects
• Assist in the creation of detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software
• Research materials, finishes, and technologies suitable for exhibit construction and presentation
• Contribute ideas for interactive elements, signage, and graphics to enhance visitor engagement
• Participate in design meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews to provide input and feedback

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in industrial design, exhibit design, interior design, architecture, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in design software - Adobe CC, Rhino or 3DS Max (V-Ray), MS Office 365
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
• Passion for art, culture, and storytelling, with a desire to create meaningful experiences for diverse audiences
