Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Program Manager of the Georgia Center for Resources and Support (GACRS) who reports to the Director of Parenting & Adoption Support Services (PASS), the Virtual Website Assistant (VWA) is responsible for providing website, webinar and training services. This part-time position is specifically responsible for having knowledge of GACRS and other Families First program website content. Having the ability to manage the day-to-day GACRS website to include content creation, organize resources, provide technical support to users, and trouble shoot problems.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day tasks for the GACRS website.
  • Update GACRS website to include upcoming training events, community resource listing, news and events announcements, and other website pages.
  • Complete email reminders notifications vis Promoter for upcoming events and trainings.
  • Complete Zoom links for GACRS and NTDC Hub trainings.
  • Establish form links for satisfaction surveys for GACRS.
  • Work in partnership with the Resource Advisor Specialist to ensure technology and data management needs are met.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Zoom, Mail Chimp, WordPress, Vimeo, Eventbrite and TinyCat.
  • Maintain statistical data for monthly report.
  • Update the GACRS training calendar provided by the Resource Advisors.
  • Development of webinars and trainings flyers in Canva.
  • Development of webinars presentations to include presenters and facilitators.
  • Provide needed Zoom login information to training participants.
  • Make available the pre-and-post test for NTDC.
  • Complete training report.
  • Provide support with training certificates.
  • Archive webinar presentations via Vimeo.
  • Support the Website needs of the agency as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for Partners in Parenting as needed.
  • Upload, format, add, and prepare content for website(s).
  • Develop announcements via MailChimp and/or Constant Contact.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by effectively communicating, having a good relationship with customers, clients, co-workers, and leadership.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attending all Agency and departmental meetings related to job responsibilities.
  • Requires the ability to work a flexibly schedule including evening, weekends, etc.
  • Ability to utilize Social Media platform for outreach and engagement.
  • Complete all other duties/responsibilities assigned including administrative tasks.

COMPETENCIES:

 

  • Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

  • Ability to multi-task as well as prioritize task(s) to effectively execute daily workload.

 

  • Ability to create documents to track program progress and program requirements.

 

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of ethical conduct practices including confidentiality, authorization for releases, HIPAA practices, etc.

 

  • Demonstrates ability to respond appropriately to the cultural differences among families/children/professionals, assigned within the program.

 

  • A proven analytical person, who can work both in a team-like environment as well as independently.

 

  • Takes the initiative including utilizing a problem solving and a solution focus approach.

 

  • Demonstrates consistent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree with skills related to website content management and applicable work experience.
  • Minimum of three years of website experience in the non-profit child welfare and family services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

 

  • Must be able to travel to Families First for mandatory in-person meetings/training/events.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal well-lit confidential office environment where there is little to no physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, and the like. May be required to meet with staff throughout the facility and in remote offices.
