The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative support to Enhanced Behavior Support Services and to the clinical director and supervisors.

Details about this opportunity: 

• Location: Farmingdale, NY
• Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
• Compensation: $18-$24/Hour 
  

**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**

Responsibilities: 

• Answers phone calls and greets visitors.
• Orders and keeps inventory of materials and organizes incoming orders
• Communicate with School Districts and Parents while projecting a positive and pleasant image of the organization.
• Assist in facilitating and scheduling maintenance of the building.
• Provide outstanding administrative support.
• Oversee center calendars and schedule events
• Facilitate communication between departments.
• Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 25% of the time.

And this background: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Previous administrative experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, basic technology skills, basic communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• 3-5 years office experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
• Experience with CLAIMS preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter is a must!
