Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative copywriter to craft engaging and effective content for our B2B audience. The ideal candidate will have strong grasp of B2B marketing and the ability to write clear, concise and persuasive copy across multiple platforms – ensuring messaging consistency with the Fastmarkets brand. As part of the content team, your work will be instrumental in the development and execution of content and campaign plans and strategies. 

As a B2B copywriter, you’ll be helping create a strong connection between Fastmarkets and our customers through producing compelling, action-oriented content to support marketing initiatives. You will be working alongside the content team to deliver high-quality, brand-compliant content and copy at a brisk pace for multiple distribution channels. But it’s not just about creating content – you’ll also be supporting the team in their efforts to improve our search engine rankings, boost organic traffic and increase engagement with outbound marketing activities. 

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Content creation: write, edit and optimise high-quality content and copy that drives results and supports commercial goals for various marketing channels including web, email campaigns and social media 
  • Industry research: conduct research on industry trends and competitors to inform content creation and ensure targeted messaging for our audience 
  • Collaborate: work closely with the marketing, sales and editorial emails to create content that supports product launches, marketing campaigns and sales enablement 
  • SEO optimisation: ensure all copy is optimised for search engines using appropriate keywords and best practices for SEO 
  • Tone and style: maintain a consistent brand voice across all content, tailored to a B2B audience while ensuring technical accuracy and readability. 
  • Proof reading and editing: review and edit copy from various teams to ensure clarity, consistency and grammatical correctness 
  • Reporting: monitor and optimise content marketing performance

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly. 

  • 2+ years of B2B copywriting experience, an understanding of commodity markets and price reporting agencies would provide a distinct advantage 
  • Understanding of B2B marketing strategies and ability to craft copy that addresses business challenges and decision-making processes 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create engaging, clear and persuasive content 
  • Solid understanding of SEO 
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on grammar, tone and style 
  • Familiarity with content management systems, GA4 and marketing automation tools 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meeting deadlines
