We're looking for a passionate and innovative Digital & Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective digital marketing strategies across various social media platforms to enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. You will play a critical role in driving traffic, increasing user engagement, and building community through content creation and management.
Responsibilities
- Post on our social & digital channels. Analyze, Report & Optimize the usage and performance on all channels such as email marketing, Linked in, Youtube, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram etc.
- Keep up to date about relevant digital websites, apps & platforms and recommend where we should be. Work with said platforms to have our content on them. Report results.
- Engage with and reply to all messages, comments, reviews on all social and digital channels including Google and App store reviews.
- Work closely with the content team to run campaigns, newsletters, blogs, articles, videos etc. on all relevant channel.
- Lead the organization, reporting and running of any new campaign on any new media such as OOH, radio etc.
- Use any Content Management System available at FlyAkeed to change/edit website content as and when required.
- Coordinate with CRM specialist as and when required for campaigns/communication/reporting etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with at least 2 years of experience in digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and paid advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
- Proficient in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinker with strong visual and content creation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for digital marketing and staying up to date with industry trends.
