The TL;DR

  • Location: Remote, with availability during ET working hours (M-F, 9am-5pm)

  • Compensation: $45 - $55/hr USD (based on experience)
  • Timeline: ASAP, though we’ll take our time finding the right fit

This will be a part-time, contractor position. This is a 100% remote position with core working hours of Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm ET. Fridays are typically async and flexible.

Who we are

Forget the Funnel is hiring a mid-level client-facing project, aka our Success Manager! We are a boutique product marketing & growth consultancy that helps SaaS and subscription businesses drive more predictable, meaningful revenue.

We developed the Customer-Led Growth™ Framework to help SaaS teams move beyond guesswork and make customer-led decisions about how to grow. We’re looking for someone who’s highly dependable and shares our core values—excellence, agency, and empathy—to join our team.

Who you are (role and responsibilities)

The Success Manager role is a split between behind the scenes work while also ensuring communication excellence with the teams we support.

As our Success Manager, you'll:

  • Guide client projects from start to finish, keeping everything on track and top-quality.
  • Build great relationships with clients through clear and reliable communication.
  • Keep the team aligned on project timelines and goals, helping everyone stay motivated and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all projects are fully set up from a technical perspective in our tech stack including but not limited to Asana, Slack, Miro, Google Workspace and AI tools, verifying team members have access to everything necessary to do their best work.
  • Coordinate calendar invites & events for the kick-off calls, workshops, and other meetings between FTF & clients.
  • Run internal “Sprint Success” meetings, including preparing the agenda, leading the discussion, and capturing action items.
  • Liaising with core, extended, and on-call team members throughout project onboarding, delivery and expansion.
  • Demonstrated alignment with our values of Excellence, Agency, and Empathy
  • Record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Extreme attention to detail (spelling, formatting, consistency, following processes). You never let details slip through the cracks.
  • Ownership and partnership: you're an expert at viewing the bigger picture to help you anticipate needs and identify priorities. You’re able to set up systems and processes that optimize how we manage projects as a team.
  • Ability to act independently, organize workload, set priorities, and work well against deadlines.
  • Expert communication: you effectively drive team-wide alignment and understanding through efficient communication that reduces ambiguity both for yourself and for others.
  • Comfort and previous experience in a remote-first, tech-first environment.

Ideally, our Success Manager would also possess 2-3 of the following:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery.
  • Experience in the tech, startup and software industries.
  • A keen sense for how to leverage AI and automation without sacrificing quality.
  • Knowledge of established project management methodologies.
  • Work virtually from anywhere. Some of what we do doesn’t have set hours, but we do expect everyone to get their work done on time with high quality. We require availability during Eastern Time Zone business hours for meetings and collaboration. Fridays are flexible!
