Job Description

As the Channel Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in executing best-in-class resets through the management of retailer-specific service teams and planogram management. This role will be critical in launching Blue Yonder for the Channel Marketing team across Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Menards. This role ensures that stores are set up according to brand guidelines and that product displays are optimized for sales. The Channel Marketing Specialist will work closely with internal, cross functional teams, as well as store reset teams and management to ensure that all resets are completed efficiently and effectively, driving a consistent and high-quality customer experience.

The ideal candidate will be a people leader and have a strong understanding of retail marketing in retail stores. You will have previous omnichannel and business-to-consumer experience, including a strong background in building relationships. You will also be able to travel approximately 1 times per quarter to customer locations.

Position location – This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Onsite days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

What you will be doing

  • Collaboration with Store Teams: Work closely with store management and associates to coordinate reset schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Reporting: Document and report on reset progress, challenges, and outcomes, providing regular updates to the Reset Manager or supervisor.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any issues or obstacles that arise during resets, ensuring solutions are implemented promptly and effectively.
  • Planogram Development: Drive space/floor planning processes, to include planogram creation, floor planning, space optimization and merchandise presentation.
  • Planogram Execution: Accurately implement and execute planograms and store resets, ensuring all products are displayed according to company standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales and or marketing experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, retail management, or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow planograms accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with store teams and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with planogram software or merchandising tools.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising strategies and best practices.
  • Experience working in large retail environments like Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Menards.
  • Knowledge of Blue Yonder, Oracle, Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 77,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
