Analyst, Technology Business Analyst (Campus)

SUMMARY 

GCM Grosvenor, a growing and dynamic Alternative Investments firm, is hiring a Business Analyst (BA) in our Technology Product & Strategy department. The BA will work closely with the Product Managers, engineering teams, and vendors to deliver technology solutions that are aligned to strategic product goals and outcomes. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:  

• Become an expert in your aligned business domain and processes 
• Translate discussions and ideas into actionable business requirements and solutioning artifacts 
• Re-envision and automate business processes to enable GCM to scale and mitigate risk 
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver outcomes with creative, technically-sound solutions 
• Use data to tell stories and drive decision making 

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

The ideal experience and competencies for the role include the following:   

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience, in a field with a quantitative focus (Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline) 
• Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts for various audiences 
• Data-driven mindset with affinity for tinkering with data and reporting tools 
• Curious and analytical thinker who can motivate others to share your vision and enthusiasm 
• Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership

It is expected that the annual base salary range for this Chicago-based position will be $60,000- $75,000.  Actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's experience, skills, and qualifications for the role.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on factors such as individual, team, and company performance as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
