The Sales Administrator is part of a team who strives to stand out in the drilling industry through relationship building, serving existing and prospective customers with high integrity and reliability, and telling our story throughout the environmental, geotechnical, and water well industries. The successful candidate will learn our systems and technology, growing in knowledge, capability, and responsibility by leveraging personal strengths and abilities. This individual will support customer service and sales activities, as well as collaborating with others both on the team and in other departments. The ideal candidate will find joy in delighting the customer, serving others, and commanding details with high accuracy.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales, finance, and production to ensure accuracy of machine quoting, machine order entry, machine invoicing, and title paperwork for truck mounted machines
- Lead or assist with logistic coordination details such as confirming receipt of final payments, machine completion, coordinating third-party transportation with communication to customer
- Think outside the box to create travel and event plans that are impactful and efficient for the field sales reps and others involved
- Collaborate with others to identify and execute new initiatives that advance our ability to serve our customers
- Assist the team to organize and coordinate events such as trade shows and product demonstration events
- Possess confidence to bring a fresh perspective to see possibility where problems/challenges exist
- Professionally represent the company by greeting customers over the phone and directing them to appropriate individuals/groups. (Back-up phone support)
- Other clerical duties as assigned
- Associates or bachelor’s degree business, marketing, or related field preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Office; Strong MS-Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills are required
- Confidence and willingness to ask questions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong ownership of projects with high attention to detail
- Able to orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal
- Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers and customers
