Role Overview: As a Sales Manager at Glean, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will play a critical role in driving the sales strategy, managing the sales process, and ensuring the success of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities for team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Glean’s products and services, and effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a sales management role.
- Experience selling at a startup or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
