Video Editor

Global Digital Media is seeking a highly skilled and organized Video Editor to create engaging and high-quality video content. This role requires expertise in video editing, content enhancement, and design elements to ensure videos align with brand identity and engage audiences effectively. Tasks and Responsibilities:

Podcast Editing (1-2 Videos per Week)

●      Download video files from the designated folder and save under Podcast Drafts.

●      Trim down videos, removing long pauses and unnecessary parts.

●      Create transcripts using Castmagic.io.

●      Select focus segments for emphasis.

●      Apply masking and solo speaker cropping as needed.

●      Add name assets, b-rolls, and product images:

○      Name assets: Text > Yours > Presets

○      B-rolls & generic photos: Pexels.com

○      Product images: Designated company sources

●      Insert intro, outro, and transitions.

●      Render the video in .MP4 and .MP3 formats.

●      Create thumbnails using Canva.

●      Upload final content to Google Drive & Vimeo:

○      Audio (.mp3), Video (.mp4), Transcript (Google Docs), Thumbnail (PNG)

●      Generate show notes via CastMagic.io (Create Content Tab).

●      Update the designated Google Sheets Tracker with links.

Educational & Informative Video Editing (No Fixed Schedule)

●      Download video from the provided source.

●      Trim and edit video, removing long pauses and unnecessary parts.

●      Generate a transcript using Castmagic.

●      Select time range with relevant discussion topics and create a new transcript.

●      Update the designated spreadsheet with transcript details.

●      Create a new project, add names, b-rolls, and product images.

●      Insert intro, outro, and transitions.

●      Render in .MP4 and .MP3 formats.

●      Create and upload show notes (Google Docs) following the CastMagic Template.

●      Design a thumbnail.

●      Upload final content to Google Drive, YouTube, and Rumble.

●      Schedule uploads for designated times.

Short-Form Video Editing (Weekly Task)

●      Extract recent YouTube livestreams and create short-form videos using Opus.pro.

●      Download clips with a high rating, save in the designated folder.

●      Upload 4 short-form videos per day to YouTube & Rumble at scheduled times.

●      Update the Google Sheets Tracker with titles and links.

●      Backup videos in Google Drive for team use.

Qualifications:

●      Proven experience in video editing and graphic design.

●      Strong understanding of design principles, branding, and visual storytelling.

●      Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

●      Experience with online collaboration tools.

●      Video Editing: CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve

●      Graphic Design: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator

●      Stock Media Sources: Freepik, Unsplash, Pexels

●      Transcription & Content: Castmagic.io

●      Project Management: Trello, Google Drive, YouTube

Rate:

●      $5 USD an hour

●      Christmas Bonus
