Global Gateway Advisors is a strategic consultancy focused on helping companies, nonprofits, organizations and governments to establish, grow, enhance and protect their reputation through dialogue and influencer engagement. We specialize in strategic communications, crisis + issues management, stakeholder + influencer engagement, executive thought leadership and media relations.

Responsibilities Overview

• Conduct and synthesize research across a variety of current issues and topics of importance to our clients.
• Draft and edit communications materials, such as media lists, pitches, press releases.
• Monitor client news to develop media and social media reports summarizing and analyzing relevant themes.
• Develop company, industry and media backgrounders and social listening reports.
• Lead an intern project based on your own interests and the firm’s needs with guidance and support from other team members.

Qualifications

• Recent college grads and undergraduate students (preferably rising seniors).
• Previous PR or communications experience is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of other programs is a plus.
• Social media savvy, with experience using LinkedIn and other key social platforms; knowledge of social listening platforms is a plus.

Length: June – August 2025 (Exact start + end dates are flexible)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with early leave on Summer Fridays

Compensation: Paid Internship $20 base hourly rate

Location: New York City, Financial District

Location

Global Gateway Advisors is headquartered at 7 World Trade Center in the Financial District of New York City. We employ a hybrid flexible workplace model, with employees splitting time between the office and their remote/home location. This role is open to candidates based in New York.
