Remote (Dallas, TX Area) | Operations | Full-Time

This position is remote until early 2026, when we will transition to our new office in the Dallas area.

About the Role

As a Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our "Custom Designed Logistics Program" tailored to each customer’s unique needs. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service, ensuring seamless operations, and proactively driving logistics solutions that generate customer satisfaction and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Support:
    • Dispatch LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) pickups, issue small package labels, track shipments, and provide timely updates.
    • Monitor and manage customer requests, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
    • Perform weekly/monthly audits of customer routing and pricing activity.
    • Track ocean shipments and provide updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions:
    • Respond to customer inquiries and operational changes promptly and professionally.
    • Proactively identify and address customer challenges, maintaining a high level of service.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Distribute operational information to internal teams and support cross-departmental initiatives.
    • Notify transportation service providers of customer expectations, appointments, and deadlines.
  • Growth Opportunities:
    • Develop new business by identifying LTL and parcel shipper leads to generate revenue (commission opportunity).
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve customer logistics strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in transportation (customer service, operations, or sales), with hands-on knowledge of LTL dispatching, shipment tracking (all modes), and international shipping/dispatching.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel) and virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Advanced English proficiency (additional languages are a plus).

Bonus Experience (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Full Truckload operations or brokerage experience.
  • Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and CRM tools.
  • HAZMAT training.
  • Experience with airfreight, intermodal, truckload, ocean shipping, or parcel carriers (UPS/FedEx/DHL).
