The Marketing Manager will be instrumental in translating GivePower’s mission and stories of impact into omni-channel copy that inspires stakeholders to action. This role works with a diverse set of internal and external teammates to develop GivePower’s voice and ensure its consistent use. This role will engage GivePower’s current and potential digital community members with humility, gratitude, expertise and resourcefulness that’s integral to GivePower’s culture. Your love of information will inspire your development and use of campaign performance reporting that assists the marketing team in refining its efforts.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Sr Director of Marketing to write compelling copy for all presentations, social media, website, email, newsletter and other marketing assets
  • Develop and interpret marketing analytics reporting that showcases campaign effectiveness
  • Coordinate all external and internal communication and marketing materials with respective departments to ensure proper preapprovals are secured
  • Monitor, respond and publish thoughtfully to social media posts across platforms, engaging internal subject matter experts as needed to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate with graphic design and video specialists to ensure that visuals support key messages
  • Partner with leadership team members and vendors to support GivePower’s participation in trade shows, speaking engagements, etc.
  • Complete additional tasks, as needed


Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a marketing manager, nonprofit experience preferred
  • Strong skills in Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; Slack a plus
  • Experience using Hootsuite and/or Sprout Social a strong plus
  • Excellent work ethic with ability to be productive in a remote work environment
  • Expert copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on key priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills while having the ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrated command of all social media technology and operation
  • Positive attitude with professional, engaging demeanor and mature sense of discretion


Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 / Annually
