Job Description

We’re looking for a Junior Creative Copywriter to join our Brand & Creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves to write, thrives on generating creative ideas, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. You’ll be at the heart of our marketing and branding efforts, shaping the voice of Gousto across multiple channels.

Reporting to the Middleweight Copywriter, you’ll work alongside designers, marketers, and key stakeholders to create compelling copy that engages, informs, and delights our customers. If you have a way with words and a passion for storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.

This role is based out of our Shepherds Bush office on a Hybrid (1 or 2 days a week) Basis. 


Core Responsibilities:

  • Creating engaging copy for campaigns, packaging, customer and growth marketing, digital platforms, and corporate communications
  • Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with the creative team and key stakeholders for seasonal campaigns and larger projects
  • Taking ownership of creative projects, working closely with your manager and the Senior Copywriter for guidance and feedback
  • Presenting confident and well-thought-out copy suggestions, clearly communicating ideas and adapting them based on feedback
  • Adopting a test, learn, and optimise approach to improve the performance of our marketing campaigns across all channels
  • Carefully proofreading all copy to ensure it is error-free and meets Gousto’s high standards
  • Implementing Gousto’s Tone of Voice Guidelines consistently across all content, ensuring our brand voice remains strong and authentic
  • Managing multiple projects efficiently, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and delivering work on time, on brand, and to a high standard

Who You Are: 

 

  • A talented writer with experience interpreting creative briefs, understanding business challenges, and responding effectively to feedback
  • Familiar with implementing brand guidelines and ensuring brand consistency across multiple channels
  • Able to showcase a portfolio of work that demonstrates copywriting experience across commercial projects
  • An excellent communicator, both in writing and in presenting ideas confidently to stakeholders
  • A natural collaborator, skilled at building relationships across teams and departments
  • Highly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Passionate about food and drink – previous experience in food copywriting is a plus!
