Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health to nursing staff
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of a state-approved CNA program
• Licensure/Certifications: Active CNA certification in New York and proof of Hepatitis B immunity (required)
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in long-term care
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), vital sign monitoring, and infection control
• Soft Skills: Compassion, adaptability to varying shifts, and strong teamwork abilities
