Position Summary

We are seeking a certified and experienced Sleep Technician (RPSGT) to join our team on a part-time basis in the Bronx. This role involves conducting overnight polysomnographic (PSG) sleep studies, ensuring accurate data collection, and supporting patient care in alignment with AASM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform overnight PSG studies, including patient prep, sensor placement, and equipment calibration
• Monitor and record sleep activity, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Score and analyze sleep data to support diagnosis of sleep disorders such as sleep apnea and insomnia
• Maintain detailed documentation while complying with HIPAA and clinical standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• Certification: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) – Required
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience conducting sleep studies
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with PSG equipment and sleep study software
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care
