Position Overview

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine to join an established urgent care facility in the Bronx, NY. This is a flexible position available as full-time, part-time, or per-diem.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and assess patient health
• Diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide education on health maintenance, hygiene, diet, and medications
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., urinalysis, blood tests, wound cultures)
• Treat minor injuries (cuts, wounds, infections) using sterile techniques
• Order and interpret X-rays and laboratory tests
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals regarding patient care plans
• Provide counseling for behavioral health concerns when needed
• Document visits and follow standard protocols for urgent care settings

Requirements

• Licensure: Active New York State NP License
• Certification: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
