Position Overview

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physician Assistant for a housecall-based practice in the Bronx, NY. This full-time role involves providing patient care in a home visit model—ideal for candidates who are compassionate, independent, and eager to work in community-based healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home patient assessments and document findings
• Obtain and review medical histories and identify abnormal conditions
• Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medications
• Monitor patient progress, maintain accurate records, and follow up as necessary
• Respond to urgent health concerns and provide emergency care as needed
• Prepare patients for evaluations and conduct basic procedures (e.g., injections, vitals)
• Provide wound care, suture minor injuries, and assist with therapeutic interventions
• Communicate findings and concerns with supervising physicians
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
• Foster a compassionate and trusting environment for patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care

Requirements

• Licensure: Active New York State Physician Assistant License
• Certification: Must be Board Certified
• Experience: New graduates are welcome; experience is a plus
