We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Professional Nurse (RN) to join the team at Valley View Center for Nursing Care and Rehabilitation. In this role, you will provide skilled nursing care to residents, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Current New York State RN license.
• Certifications:
• Must be Board Certified
• Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and medical record-keeping.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
