Senior Social Content Strategist

As the Senior Social Content Strategist focusing on short-form video, you’ll lead the content editorial strategy to boost awareness and position Grove as a trusted leader in environmental and human health across all social channels. We see this as an opportunity to drive brand awareness on TikTok and Instagram by delivering cutting-edge content that combines compelling storytelling with education about Grove’s leadership in human health and sustainability. We’re looking for a master storyteller with a passion for safe and sustainable living and a knack for testing bold ideas. You’ll be the leader of Grove’s TikTok social strategy, telling authentic, compelling stories that educate and inspire healthier buying habits. With a test-and-learn mentality, you’ll write, film, and post fresh ideas across channels. This fully remote role reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing and works with a Social Media Manager and Content Creator Team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Creative Leader: Act as the team’s idea generator, orchestrating concepts across brand pillars while owning the final vision and quality of all content.
  • Editorial Strategist: Lead the editorial direction for Grove’s social content, ensuring messaging drives awareness and authority in health, wellness, and sustainability.
  • TikTok Innovator: Leverage TikTok as an experimental hub, driving bold, awareness-focused content through rapid iteration and applying insights across organic and paid strategies.
  • Strategic Translator: Transform big-picture ideas into actionable, high-impact strategies that set Grove apart in the competitive social landscape.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Define and track KPIs for each channel, analyze content performance to identify successes and improvement areas, and integrate learnings into broader strategies

  • Content Creation
  • Creative Visionary: You are a Creative by trade, blending sharp editorial execution with an endless stream of ideas, expertly curating and prioritizing to deliver the most impactful, on-brand content.
  • Video-First Storyteller: Lead the creation of video-first content, particularly for TikTok, balancing Grove’s editorial priorities with playful, experimental approaches.
  • Agile Planner: Build and execute content calendars that prioritize swift idea generation and agile execution to capture timely trends and maximize impact.
  • Collaborative Innovator: Partner with influencers, creators, and UGC contributors to explore new formats and styles, driving engagement and optimizing content performance.

  • Editorial Mindset:  Body of work/portfolio that proves Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft narratives that align with brand priorities and resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Self-Starter: You are proactive and resourceful, requiring minimal management to lead your team effectively and drive initiatives forward.
  • TikTok Expertise: Proven experience concepting and producing TikTok or video-first social media strategies, with a track record of driving engagement and awareness.
  • Agile and Experimental: Thrives in fast-paced environments, quickly adapting to trends and embracing calculated risks to push creative boundaries.
  • Comfort in Ambiguity: Quickly running with new concepts and solving problems on the fly as you adapt strategies to evolving trends and priorities

  • An efficient, agile content creation process that integrates insights across TikTok, Instagram, and eventually YouTube.
  • Data-driven storytelling that amplifies Grove’s reach, builds credibility, and deepens audience trust in the health and wellness space.


$145,000 - $170,000 a year
Our compensation bands are adjusted based on market-specific cost of living data, meaning that the top of our salary range is reserved for experienced candidates in the highest cost of living areas across the country. We aim to be competitive and fair.
