The Role

Join the dynamic and innovative Guidant Financial team as a remote Sales Operations Specialist! In this crucial and impactful role, you will play a pivotal part in empowering our sales function by meticulously managing data and creating insightful reports in Salesforce, which are essential for informed decision-making. Additionally, you will take the initiative in training our team on various process enhancements, ensuring that everyone is well-equipped to leverage best practices for maximum efficiency. Your responsibilities will also encompass providing invaluable support to a range of operational activities, contributing to the overall success and smooth functioning of our sales operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Evaluate, monitor, and provide insights on essential sales metrics
  • Create, sustain, and enhance Salesforce dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to showcase performance indicators
  • Spot opportunities for sales training and organize weekly schedules
  • Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to craft and execute Salesforce reporting solutions that cater to diverse stakeholder requirements
  • Guarantee data accuracy in Salesforce by overseeing audits and resolving any inconsistencies
  • Oversee and fine-tune the data structures, hierarchies, and user permissions within the sales software stack to ensure they align with organizational workflows
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and strategic planning by delivering precise, timely data-driven insights
  • Educate and assist end-users on Salesforce reporting tools and best practices for effective data management
  • Perform administrative tasks such as training coordination, workflow management, tool implementation, communication, and scheduling
  • Comprehend, refresh, and uphold the Salesforce design, tools, fields, and overall structure

  • Review and analyze all contracts and supplemental sales materials

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old
  • We are looking for candidates with over 2 years of experience in sales or a related business field
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with customer relations management (CRM) programs is essential, with a preference for Salesforce experience
  • Proficiency in using databases and spreadsheets is crucial
