✨The core mission of the Cyber Security Content Analyst

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cyber Security Content Analyst to manage, organize, and enhance our portfolio of labs. This role will ensure our content aligns with industry standards, frameworks, and emerging threats while providing clear documentation, walkthroughs, and hints for our users. Additionally, the Cyber Security Content Analyst will map existing and new content to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST/NICE, and others, identify gaps in coverage, and assist in the development of new content to address those gaps. This individual will also monitor threat intelligence feeds to ensure our labs remain relevant and valuable to our customers.

You will contribute to our growing Content team and report to the HTB's Content Engineering Manager, working in a highly collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to work with an across the globe team, shaping the cybersecurity field through contributing in the creation of top notch content for HTB Labs.

• Content Documentation:
• Create detailed walkthroughs and hints for our labs
• Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and user-friendly
• Framework Mapping and Analysis:
• Map each lab to relevant vulnerabilities, techniques, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST/NICE, OWASP Top 10, etc.
• Maintain a centralized database to track mappings and content alignment
• Gap Analysis and Content Enhancement:
• Evaluate gaps between existing labs and industry frameworks to identify areas for new content development
• Work closely with the content development teams to create labs that address these gaps
• Content Categorization and Utilization:
• Develop a system to categorize content by domain, sector, threat actor, or other relevant criteria
• Provide insights on how existing content can be repurposed or extended to provide additional value to customers
• Customer Content Suggestion:
• Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to identify customer needs and tailor content offerings accordingly
• Ensure content aligns with the unique requirements of specific industries, sectors, and threat landscapes
• Threat Intelligence Monitoring:
• Regularly monitor threat intelligence feeds and reports to identify emerging threats, techniques, and vulnerabilities
• Translate insights from threat intelligence into new challenges and lab scenarios
• Database and Asset Management:
• Maintain an up-to-date database of all labs and their attributes (e.g., frameworks covered, difficulty level, sectors addressed)
• Use the database to generate reports, evaluate coverage, and plan future development efforts

🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of Cyber Security Content Analyst at Hack The Box

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST/NICE, OWASP Top 10, etc.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and feeds
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of English language (speaking, reading, writing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated, with a passion for information security
• Experience in Penetration Testing

⭐️Bonus points: 

• Acquired certifications in Penetration Testing (CPTS/CBBH)
• Strong grasp of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience in Cloud Technologies (Azure/AWS) or AI/ML
• Knowledge of specific industries or sectors (e.g., finance, healthcare, energy) and their threat landscapes.
• Experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or related roles.
• Experience developing or managing cybersecurity training content is a strong plus.
