Talent Acquisition Specialist

The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of ‘Talent Acquisition Specialist’, for its premises in Thessaloniki (hybrid). The position will be reported to the Talent Acquisition Manager of the Human Resources department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creates and publishes job advertisements across various job portals.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to define qualification criteria and develop job descriptions for future employees.
  • Screens resumes and job applications, both externally and internally.
  • Conducts initial phone screenings to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews and coordinates calendars for interviewers and candidates.
  • Co-interviews candidates in both in-person and virtual settings for junior and mid-level roles.
  • Tracks key hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire.
  • Trains and advises hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
  • Follows up with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Supports the Talent Acquisition team with administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Handles documentation and maintains accurate records.
  • Assists with new hire onboarding, including preparing necessary documents and coordinating orientation agendas.
  • Maintains the company’s database of potential candidates for future openings.
  • Administers and optimizes the use of the ATS.
  • Participates in career events and networking activities to source potential candidates.
  • Collaborates with external career consultants when needed.
  • Implements and promotes HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Provides support to the HR function in ad hoc projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in recruitment or other HR-related roles, preferably in dynamic environments.
  • Experience in the industrial sector will be considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of hiring practices and processes, including screening, interviews, assessments, and onboarding.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools preferably with Workable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
