Role Summary:
To create a magical experience for our customer, we have to do a lot: create an image that is exactly what a customer dreams of, provide price and dimensions, and produce a faithful physical product — all while doing our best to make a complex and intimidating system feel simple, accessible, and human. The Director of E-Commerce Product Management will play a pivotal role at the company in its 0-1 journey as it redefines commerce and defines the first AI experience for many consumers worldwide.
Arcade seeks an entrepreneurial, creative, hands-on and highly experienced individual who wants to break convention and take on what others think is ‘impossible’, in order to build the future of e-commerce. Together, we will create a category-defining company - the world’s first prompt-to-product marketplace - which will take its place amongst the world’s biggest e-commerce destinations. Critical to success is keeping up pace to build moat, achieve first-mover advantage, and scale to meet what the market demands.
The Director of E-Commerce Product Management will be responsible for driving the strategy, design, and build of our shopping features (both pre-order and post-order) as well as maker-facing features including fulfillment and customer service functionality. This leader will ensure a best-in-class marketplace shopping experience. S/he will partner closely with our engineering, design, marketing, and content production team members to prioritize and implement key functionality. The successful candidate will have had deep e-commerce PM experience, strong project management skills, superb and proactive communications skills, the ability to motivate cross-functional teams, and the ability to drive detail-oriented results on time.
This role is an opportunity for a highly entrepreneurial, hands-on, positive, and strategic individual to build a category-defining company surrounded by superb peers and interacting with iconic investors. The role requires working in our sunny Presidio, SF office 4 days/week.
