Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Caregiver to provide high-quality care to individuals in need of assistance with daily living and supporting our partner Integrated healing medicine directly. The ideal candidate will combine home care expertise with empathy to ensure clients' comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Remind patients to take medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, etc.) per client needs.
• Administer and monitor nebulizer treatments, ensuring proper usage and patient comfort while following medical guidelines and safety protocols. (Herewith & IHM to provide training) 
• Assist patients with physical therapy exercises or doctor-prescribed movement routines, ensuring proper technique and safety. (Herewith & IHM to provide training) 
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being.
• Document care activities, observations, and services provided accurately.
• Adhere to care plans designed in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to protect clients and self.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or similar credential preferred.
• Previous caregiving experience in a clinical or home care setting (minimum 1-2 years).
• Ability to perform basic medical tasks (e.g. checking vital signs).
• CPR/First Aid certification (required).
• Proficiency in operating and administering nebulizer treatments and ensuring proper technique.
• Previous experience assisting with physical therapy exercises preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and families.
• Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to caregiving.
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting and mobility tasks.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to care plans and safety guidelines.

Work Environment:

• May include home care settings, assisted living facilities, or clinical environments.
