Part II Architectural Assistant

Heta Architects is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Part II Architectural Assistant to join our growing team in London. About the Role 

As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you will be a key contributor to project delivery, working collaboratively with the team on design and technical tasks. You will play an important role in preparing bidding documents, developing design proposals, and ensuring that work is delivered accurately and efficiently. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks proactively while working collaboratively within the team. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Work closely with the team to develop bidding documents, feasibility studies, and design proposals. 

• Collaborate on technical drawings and visual presentations, ensuring clarity and precision. 

• Manage tasks effectively while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. 

• Take initiative in identifying challenges and proposing solutions. 

• Participate in design discussions and contribute creative ideas. 

• Assist with the production of marketing contents and materials as needed. 

• Be adaptable and willing to take on a variety of tasks beyond your core role—we’re a small, driven team, and everyone plays a part in getting things done. 

Required Skills and Experience 

• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign. 

• Strong design and technical skills with attention to detail. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. 

• Knowledge of UK building regulations and planning requirements (or ability to develop this knowledge quickly). 

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a keen interest in high-quality architecture. 

• Fluent in English (verbal and written) with strong communication skills. 

Preferred Attributes 

• Experience in Rhino and Grasshopper for parametric design and advanced modelling is a plus. 

• Strong conceptual and freehand sketching skills. 

• Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 

• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
