HexArmor is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter, with a passion for sales and building relationships. The Channel Account Specialist will support the Channel Account Managers who support Grainger, Norther Safety, MSC, Motion and Stauffer. They will have the opportunity to handle a large volume of interactions and provide paramount service and support to a variety of operations within the company including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service. We are looking for ambitious, organized, and savvy people looking to make an impact on this fast-growing organization.

LOCATION

HexArmor Headquarters – 640 Leffingwell Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support Channel Sales team to execute performance objectives to achieve critical milestones and financial targets.
  • Keep customer information and contact activity current in the Salesforce.com database.
  • Analyze distributor sales and report back trends on monthly basis using Tableau and Excel.
  • Work cross-functionally within HexArmor departments (marketing, product development, operations).
  • Recommend product solutions using consultative approach and manage product trials.
  • Facilitate sales interactions between distributors and the HexArmor sales team
  • Build and maintain relationships with contacts at different levels of named distributors including product management, exclusive brands team, marketing, supply chain, and operations
  • Consistent touch point with multiple groups of distributor contacts:
    • Sales Development Team, Customer Service Consultants, Onsite Team, and Safety Specialists
  • Support HexArmor with opportunity needs:
    • Sample order entry and tracking follow ups, Sample kits, Marketing materials, and CRM (Salesforce) management
  • Supporting Global Accounts Team on distributor opportunities and end users
  • Increase revenue through the development of specific account plans to include product presentations, marketing initiatives, promotional programs, and trade show plans

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of sales/account management experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate-advanced skill level preferred in Excel
  • Excellent Soft Skills – self-motivated, proactive, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Self-management - Able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to succeed in a high-pressured, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Tableau is a plus

TRAVEL

  • Up to 10% travel throughout the year

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary + 10% Annual Performance Bonus
