We are based in San Francisco, with offices in New York and Chicago. We are open to hiring in the following states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C.


Operations Intern to join our team and play a key role in shaping our operational efficiency through data-driven insights.


Role Overview: As an Operations Intern, you will work closely with our Delivery and Operations team to analyze and organize data, identify trends, and create compelling visualizations to inform key business decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving challenges, connecting the dots between disparate data sources, and crafting stories through data.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and merging data dimensions.
  • Connect and reconcile data from various sources to identify trends, inconsistencies, and actionable insights.
  • Develop clear, concise tables, charts, and visuals to summarize key points for senior management.

  • Operational Support:
  • Collaborate with team members to understand business challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Assist in data entry and fielding questions and requests across the operations toolset.
  • Assist in taking meeting notes and actioning tasks related to the operations team.
  • Assist in optimizing workflows and processes by leveraging insights derived from data.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in data cleaning, organization, and reporting.

  • Presentation & Storytelling:
  • Create compelling presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Use data visualization tools and techniques to tell clear, actionable stories with a focus on driving strategic decisions.


Key Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
  • Advanced Excel expertise, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and merging datasets.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Tableau, BI Portal, or similar) is a plus.
  • Ability to reconcile and merge data from disparate sources while maintaining accuracy.

  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively and present confidently to senior management.
  • A self-starter who can take initiative and achieve results with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen ability to focus on both the big picture and granular details.

  • Passion for Data Storytelling:
  • An enthusiasm for identifying trends, making sense of complex datasets, and telling stories that drive business impact.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent completion of a degree program in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing operations is a bonus but not required.


$18 - $20 an hour
This is a six-month paid internship. Successful interns may be offered full-time employment (we’re rooting for you!).
