Job Purpose:
The company is seeking a Graphic Designer whose work will continue to elevate our brand's visual identity. They will both lead and assist in creating compelling, cutting-edge design experiences along with our other team members. This position will be an integral part of our creative team, responsible for creating and executing captivating designs that align with our brand ethos and resonate with our fashion-forward audience. Experience with design software and graphic editing tools is a must. Your ability to blend innovation, style, and sophistication will be pivotal in driving the success of our brand as you work closely with your fellow designers and the company family.
Responsibilities:
• Have a strong understanding of the design vision and strategy for Cult Gaia, ensuring brand consistency, and pushing creative boundaries following seasonal and brand direction from your department leaders.
• Conceptualize and develop original, trendsetting designs for all Marketing channels, including Emails, Ads, Texts, Instagram and other social media platforms.
• Collaborate in creating launch related assets – including, but not limited to website visual updates, promotional and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the social media team to create on-trend graphics, animations, and interactive elements to drive audience engagement and brand loyalty.
• Craft graphics that enhance the brand's storytelling and elevate the overall customer experience.
• Color-correct and retouch images.
• Assist in file management and organization.
• Support in the creation of market materials such as look-books, invites, etc. • Assist in photoshoot pre- and post-production as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Art and Marketing Departments to align design strategies with business objectives.
• Stay informed about the latest design trends, fashion industry developments, and social media innovations.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in luxury fashion or high-end brand design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional creativity and design proficiency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- A keen eye for luxury aesthetics, trends, and contemporary fashion culture. - In-depth understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, and the ability to design content tailored for different audiences.
- Experience in e-commerce design and creating visually appealing product displays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about the fashion industry, innovation, and creating visually stunning experiences.
- Up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and inspire junior designers.
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
