Schedule: This is a Full-Time position.

Position Reports to: Program Manager

Compensation: up to $22.498 per hour

Job Duties Include:

  • Conducting bi-weekly individual parenting sessions with clients to assess needs, providing education, and supporting family goals
  • Facilitating a weekly one-hour parenting group
  • Participating in bi-weekly supervision meetings with Program Manager
  • Attending weekly clinical staff meetings and any additional meetings with staff or clients related to parenting concerns
  • Joining provider meetings regarding CPS involvement and child reunification representing the parenting perspective
  • Writing support letters for clients involved in the reunification process.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date individual and group session documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Ensuring all required parenting forms are completed and properly filed in client charts.
  • Offering informal supervision and feedback to clients during visits with their children to enhance parenting interactions.
  • Tracking and maintaining up-to-date child physicals and immunization records for all children in the program.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with community agencies that support families, including Alpha Pregnancy, Healthy Families, Mary’s Corner, and St. Vincent’s.
  • Assisting clients in accessing supportive services for their children, including developmental screenings, counseling, and preventive care.
  • Providing clients with local daycare listings and guidance in securing childcare.
  • Issuing certificates of completion to clients who finish the parenting program.
  • Monitoring and manage the baby supply inventory, including distribution and ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Coordinating with case managers and other service providers to deliver comprehensive, wrap-around services for clients.
  • Providing co-parenting sessions for clients when appropriate.
  • Assisting in the development of Plans of Safe Care for pregnant women and newborns, in collaboration with relevant providers.

  • Education:   
  • Associate's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Child Development, or a related field required, and Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • CPR training required, or willing to take upon hire.

  • Experience: 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in parent education, child welfare, or family services.
  • Familiarity with child development, trauma-informed care, and CPS procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
