The House of Commons’ Procedural Services is currently looking to staff the Publishing and Quality Assurance Officer position. In this part-time position, the incumbent will be working remotely with the hours of operations being from 8:00 pm until 3:30 am EST/EDT when the House of Commons is in session.
The Publishing and Quality Assurance Officers (PQAO) are responsible for the timely and accurate technical preparation, data entry, formatting, quality assurance (including proofreading/concordance) and publishing of draft and final versions of translated parliamentary texts (i.e. Debates, Committee Evidence, Committee Reports and Special Projects) and their preparation for online publishing and printing as well as their submission to other parties for indexing and archiving.
