FP&A Specialist

We are looking for an FP&A Specialist to drive the financial planning, reporting and business analysis at HousingAnywhere Group. Your expertise will be key to transform financial processes and ensure data-driven decision making across the company. Your team

You will be part of the Finance department, which consists of five people divided into two teams: Accounting and Finance Operations. You will be acting as the right hand of the Director of Finance, having a key position within the department. 

 

Your role and impact

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create financial forecasts, track key performance indicators (KPIs), support budgeting processes, and provide strategic insights to drive the company's financial growth and operational efficiency. Your main responsibilities:

  • Financial Forecasting & Budgeting: work closely with the Director of Finance to create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts as well as leading the preparation and management of company’s budget to ensure effective resource allocation. Collaborate with department heads and hold them accountable for budget adherence. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of key assumptions, market conditions, and business initiatives.
  • Month-End Closure: work closely with the Director of Finance leading the financial Month End closure.
  • Financial Reporting: prepare detailed financial reports for leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
  • Performance Analysis: conduct and improve monthly financial analysis to assess business performance against budget, previous years, and trends, including profitability and operational efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Process Optimization: strengthen financial planning and analysis processes in a complex reporting environment to ensure accurate and timely budgeting, reporting, and analysis.
  • KPI Monitoring: define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.
  • Data Integrity & System Improvements: ensure the accuracy of financial data by leveraging accounting and FP&A software tools. Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, automate tasks, and enhance efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: act as a strategic partner to the Director of Finance, providing insights and support on performance-related inquiries.

 

Your profile

  • 3-6 years experience in financial planning, analysis, or a related finance/FP&A/finance partnering role.
  • Master or Post Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Ability to turn complex data into strategic insights.
  • Effective communicator with leadership skills to collaborate across teams.
  • You drive change and have the ability to see the bigger picture in complex topics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Independent, self-starter, and hands-on.
  • Experience in a fast tech scale-up or SME is a plus.
  • CFA or CPA is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
