The Senior Billing Specialist plays a critical role in IMO Health’s order-to-cash cycle, ensuring accurate and timely billing while collaborating with the accounting and sales teams. This position demands a detail-oriented professional capable of interpreting contracts, validating orders, and delivering exceptional customer service. WHAT YOU'LL DO:- Read and interpret customer contracts, identifying key terms that impact the setup of sales orders and invoices.
- Ensure all sales orders and invoices align with executed contracts, company policies, and order entry procedures.
- Uphold internal order entry process guidelines and corporate control standards.
- Create accurate and timely customer invoices.
- Address order entry and invoicing issues with internal teams and external customers.
- Investigate and resolve invoicing discrepancies and provide audit support as needed.
- Organize and communicate a monthly working backlog of invoices, including status updates.
- Prepare and maintain key management billing reports and metrics.
- Generate and distribute monthly statements to customers.
- Maintainaccurate customer master data in Salesforce and NetSuite.
- Obtain and validate sales tax exemption certificates.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements and support their implementation.
- Conduct various ad hoc analyses to support business needs.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce CRM and NetSuite (or similar software) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
