As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Indice you will be joining our experienced services development team. You will participate in a multidisciplinary team tasked with developing and maintaining financial web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities include
- Work with business analysts, product managers, and developers to understand banking requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts for digital banking applications
- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution with development teams
- Conduct regression testing after fixes or system updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to obtain UAT sign-off and ensure readiness for production deployment.
- Provide detailed test reports, including defect trends and recommendations for process improvements.
A 50/50 work from home/office is required for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business,
- or a related field.
- 2+ years in UAT testing, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Familiarity with core banking, online banking, mobile banking, and
- payment systems.
- Strong understanding of UAT methodologies and best practices.
- Experience testing web applications, mobile banking apps, and API
- integrations.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying.
- Understanding of banking compliance standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, KYC,
- AML).
- Awareness of cybersecurity best practices in digital banking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with digital payments (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, real-time payments).
- Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
- Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance).
