Job Description

We're looking for a Research Executive to join our team in London as part of our Content function.

You will play a truly critical role in WARC’s content team, supporting the development of a wide range of WARC deliverables.  The Research Executive sits at the very core of WARC’s business, helping develop a broad variety of WARCs subscription and advisory content.

You will be required to conduct desk research into pivotal marketing industry issues and write concise reports across a range of categories and topics. You will also be providing qualitative and quantitative analysis across a range of internal and external sources, which you will synthesise to support deliverables such as WARCs Industry Snapshot series and our flagship Marketer’s Toolkit product. 

Additionally, you will contribute to the design, fielding and data analysis of proprietary WARC surveys for ongoing research programs, bespoke advisory projects and partner research projects with industry organisations such as the ANA and the MMA. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the research team across a range of deliverables, quantitative and qualitative
  • Support the advisory team with bespoke research projects from project kick-off through to delivery
  • Write reports, synthesising a variety of information sources
  • Enter, clean and analyse data for various quantitative deliverables
  • Support the design, scripting and analysis of surveys, including working with research panel partners where required
  • Manage data analysis and charting in Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Strong interest in research, especially information gathering, data analysis and insight development
  • High level of comfort conducting desk research using the Internet, and ideally conversant with some AI tools
  • Business-grade command of English, with well-developed writing skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ideally some knowledge of the marketing and advertising industry, with a strong interest in the latest trends, best practices and thought leadership in the industry
