Senior Producer, Product (Temporary)

Instrument is a remote-first digital product and brand experience agency with a team of over 200 talented individuals, organized across four specialized teams. Role Overview:

You’re an experienced producer who excels at managing complex projects, enabling teams to create exceptional digital product experiences. You have a deep understanding of digital product design and can drive every phase of a project lifecycle, collaborating with strategists, designers, developers, and stakeholders. You thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You tirelessly advocate for the best outcomes, balancing user needs with business goals.

*Ideally located on the East Coast and/or able to work EST hours for this project


What You'll Do
  • Lead large, multi-disciplinary digital product design projects, from strategy to execution, including deliverables like design systems and AI-driven design languages.
  • Build and actively manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring work meets objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to guide creative and technical deliverables, providing clear direction and removing roadblocks.
  • Apply your expertise in digital product design to influence the work, support the team, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Bring a balance of innovation and practicality to production approaches, evaluating and refining processes to ensure success.
  • Foster a proactive work environment by anticipating challenges, identifying solutions, and maintaining a steady course through complexities.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across written and verbal interactions to build trust and alignment with team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain positivity and calm under pressure while managing competing priorities and driving results.


What You'll Bring
  • 5–8 years of experience producing complex digital projects, with a strong emphasis on product design and development.
  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level clients and leading large internal teams with professionalism and respect.
  • Deep familiarity with digital product management processes, approaches, and best practices.
  • The ability to "translate" between the client, internal teams, and project work, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • A strong understanding of design systems, user experience principles, and emerging technologies like AI in product design.
  • A track record of balancing strategic vision with day-to-day project execution.
  • The ability to inspire confidence and clarity in ambiguous situations while driving towards successful outcomes.


Pay Range
  • The expected pay range for this role is $58-$86 per hour (on a W-2), but will depend on the level in which you are engaged.
  • Our company has three regional pay bands that it adheres to depending on your location, we reference them as US 1, US 2, and US 3.
  • US 3 is our base pay. Examples of cities in US 3 are Portland, Houston and Miami.
  • US 2 pay is 7.5% higher than US 3 to meet the market rates. Examples of cities in US 2 are Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle.
  • US 1 pay is 15% higher than US 3 to meet market rates. Examples of cities in US 1 are Brooklyn and San Francisco.
