About The Role:
The Education, Training, and Product Insights Coordinator will lead the creation of impactful training materials and the facilitation of engaging education sessions while ensuring all materials are informed by real-world product testing insights. This dual role combines creative educational development with hands-on product testing to enhance the experience for internal teams, affiliates, and consumers.
Duties and Responsibilities - Including but not limited to:
Educational Content Creation and Training
- Design and develop comprehensive educational materials, including training guides, videos, and presentation decks.
- Host virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and live demonstrations tailored to various audiences.
- Facilitate product knowledge sessions, styling tutorials, and sales strategy trainings.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and copywriters to produce polished, visually compelling assets.
- Engage with affiliates, providing personalized coaching and ongoing support.
- Collect feedback from training sessions and refine future materials and presentations.
Product Testing and Insights
- Test and evaluate all new tools, liquids, and makeup products for performance, functionality, and user experience.
- Document detailed product insights, best practices, and troubleshooting recommendations.
- Partner with the Product Development team to address issues, optimize product performance, and deliver actionable feedback.
- Share testing data with the Education Content Manager to inform training content.
- Develop concise educational briefs for internal teams to align with the brand's educational strategy.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on hairstyling experience working behind the chair.
- Proven experience as a brand educator in the beauty or hair care industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in creating and delivering educational content, both in-person and virtually within the beauty industry.
- A valid cosmetology license in the state of residence.
- Advanced technical knowledge and expertise in the professional hair industry, including tools, techniques, and trends.
- Ability to evaluate and analyze product performance with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, product development, and marketing.
- Experience working with makeup is a plus.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Hair styling/ Cosmetology experience
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, entrepreneurial environment that requires the high initiative and ability to self–prioritize business tasks
