The hours for this role are: 8:00am to 5:00pm CST, Monday – Friday

Essential Functions:

    • Maintain and support existing data integrations with clients and EMR vendors.
    • Assist in implementing new interoperability projects using Mirth Connect and APIs.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Document processes, integration configurations, and standard operating procedures.
    • Assist in testing and validating data during integration implementations and when needed to support our Clinical Operations team.
    • Analyze and enhance integration workflows to increase efficiency across EMR integrations.
    • Partner with internal teams, vendors, and clients to understand requirements and needs around integration and project Go-Live deliverables.

Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in healthcare EMR interoperability/integration.
    • HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data exchange experience required.
    • Strong understanding and experience with integration engines such as Mirth Connect.
    • Experience with APIs, data transformation, and ETL processes.
    • Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues independently.
    • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented with strong documentation practices.
    • Development or scripting experience is a bonus but not required.
    • Comfortable with wiki-based departmental documentation.

Preferred Skills:

    • SQL and data query proficiency.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms and environments such as Azure and AWS.
    • Knowledge of healthcare workflows and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
