Enterprise Automation Solution Architect

IT Concepts seeks an experienced Enterprise Automation Solution Architect as a trusted advisor who collaborates cross-functionally with internal ITC teams, executive leadership, and Federal government clients to design a vision and architecture for solving specific business problems to enable digital transformation and system modernization. This role is part of a fast-paced and fast-growing part of ITC, Technology Partnerships, which reports to the SVP of Tech Services. Growing our technology partnerships and billable services revenue through our technology partnership platforms is a priority for ITC. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth technical and project implementation experience in the UiPath platform. Working knowledge of additional enterprise automation tools is a plus. A deep understanding of the UiPath platform is required. Still, just as importantly, top-notch people skills are needed to get ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to build visions into successful solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Technology Partnerships Manager to build out a UiPath Practice at ITC and strengthen and formalize ITC's technology partnerships.
  • Provide pre-sales support to Service Delivery teams to help identify and qualify opportunities for UiPath (and other enterprise automation platforms as needed) in existing accounts/ contracts.
  • Develop whitepapers, proof of concepts, demos, etc., to elicit/define requirements and propose value-added enterprise automation solutions to address client pain points and priorities.
  • Create quality, scalable, and performant solutions within the enterprise automation platform ecosystem, ensuring all components seamlessly fit together to form a coherent, value-driven solution.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify leads and work them through the opportunity funnel to a closed stage, focusing on enterprise automation technical solutions support.
  • Support the ITC business development team in pursuing and bidding on federal government contracts focused on enterprise automation, from identification to proposal solutions and writing responses.
  • Support hiring enterprise automation personnel for contract bids/awards by conducting interviews and providing feedback to assess potential candidates.
  • Develop content for internal UiPath/enterprise automation training, marketing collateral, etc., to increase ITC's understanding of the technology platform and promote the technology partnership capabilities internally and externally.
  • Conduct research into clients’ use of UiPath/enterprise automation solutions, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for those solutions.
  • Review solutions and recommend improvements to drive value delivery of enterprise automation solutions internally and externally with clients.
  • Stay abreast of enterprise automation platform capabilities and technology innovations from new releases and innovations, e.g., AI.

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, VA

  • At least 5 years of experience in a leading role in delivering UiPath RPA and enterprise-wide automation projects successfully and on time to clients. Advanced Developer certification(s) for UiPath is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of other enterprise automation tools (Microsoft Power Platform, Automation Anywhere) is a plus.
  • Proven full-cycle Deployment Experience: Demonstrated experience in at least two full-cycle deployments, operations, and maintenance of UiPath and/or other Platform automation solutions, ensuring comprehensive knowledge and expertise in all phases of the automation lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Ability to present technology to laypersons in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to observe trends. Able to actively make suggestions based on the results
  • Strong Writing Skills: Exceptional ability to create clear, concise, and engaging technical documentation, marketing materials, and presentation content, ensuring complex information is accessible to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work in highly cross-functional teams to drive task completion and results 
  • Able to work independently while given high-level direction
  • A pro-active personality, with a can-do attitude
  • Available and responsive to questions, clarifications, and instructions
  • Ability to tailor communication to multiple audiences at all levels
  • A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams
  • Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence
  • A strategic approach to solution design, with a proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy

Preferred:

  • Development level training and certifications, e.g., UiPath Associate Developer and/or UiPath Advanced Developer. Microsoft Power Platform certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, .NET, or Java.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts as they apply to RPA and enterprise automation.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Current knowledge of technology trends/landscape, i.e., AI
  • Federal government experience
