Scope of Role

We are looking for an accomplished and meticulous IT Procedure Writer to join our team on a contract basis. Reporting to our Global Head of IT, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and refining IT procedures following ISO27001:2022 standards.

We ask that you have a substantial understanding of information security protocols and excellent technical writing skills to meet project deadlines.

You will be located in our London HQ, on a hybrid work schedule on a 6 month, full-time contract.

As an IT Procedures Writer, you will:

Develop IT Procedures

• Write and document IT procedures that comply with ISO27001 standards.
• Ensure all procedures are clear, and easily understood by IT\end-users.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to gather necessary information and insights.

Review/ Update Existing Procedures

• Conduct in-depth reviews of existing IT procedures to ensure compliance with ISO27001.
• Identify areas for improvement and update procedures accordingly.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements.

Ensure Compliance

• Work with the ITRS Security Manager to ensure all IT procedures align with ISO27001:2022 standards.
• Review audit findings and assessments to verify compliance.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in compliance and security measures.

• 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, within IT domain.

• Experience with ISO27001:2022 standards and documentation.
• Experience with information security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in technical writing and documentation tools.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance standards.
