Scope of Role
The Renewals Associate will report to the Head of Sales Operations & Strategy to support our Renewals Analysts in managing subscription renewals for our customers across the DEM and Infra Value streams. You will assist with administrative tasks, customer communication, and contract processing to provide a seamless renewal experience.
As a Renewals Associate, you will:
- Assist Renewals Analysts in tracking, managing, and processing customer subscription renewals.
- Create renewal quotes, contracts, and invoices.
- Coordinate with our teams (Sales Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Finance) to ensure accurate pricing and contract terms.
- Communicate with customers to provide renewal reminders, address inquiries, and escalate concerns.
- Maintain renewal records in CRM systems (Salesforce and Uptrends Admin)
- Identify opportunities for upsell/cross-sell and collaborate with the sales team to maximize revenue.
- Support reporting efforts by preparing renewal status updates and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and renewal best practices.
- Enhance process documentation to ensure procedures are followed
- Support process automation projects to enhance efficiency in the renewals process.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in renewals, sales operations, customer support, or a similar role.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and deriving insights to support business decisions. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce is required. Candidates without prior Salesforce experience must demonstrate an ability to learn and adapt quickly to CRM tools.
- Experience managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with other teams and engage with partners at different levels.
- Experience working with subscription-based or SaaS businesses.
- Knowledge of contract management, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition principles.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; able to work at pace on multiple deals at once.
- Understanding with CPQ (configure, price, quote) tools.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (B2-C2 level).
- Willing to work in a hybrid setup, reporting onsite at least once a week to our Makati office.
