Why We Need You!
Ivanti is looking for a Senior Federal Product Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote federal government programs, services, and initiatives to the public, often focusing on compliance with government regulations. Working cross-functionally, you’ll help drive go-to-market strategies specifically for the US Federal Government across our Neurons Platform and related products.
This role requires developing effective messaging for Federal buyers and practitioners, leveraging your experience in the Federal market. You’ll work across the entire Solutions Marketing team to adapt and expand messaging, use cases, sales plays and other resources for the Federal market. You will work closely with our Federal sales and broader marketing organization and will support field and partner enablement, aiding in cross-functional launches, and promoting Ivanti’s IT & Security solutions to this segment. You will be an integral part of crafting compelling narratives for Federal Government agencies at the platform, product, and solution level.
Our team of experienced product marketers is focused on understanding customer needs and driving value-based messaging and effective marketing initiatives. We’re highly collaborative, leveraging the strengths of cross-functional teams to ensure that the appropriate message is delivered to the right customer at the right time.

About The Team
Ivanti Corporate marketing is a comprehensive promotion of a company's products or services. Our primary focus entails building a strong brand image and strengthening customer relationships.
What You Will Be Doing
• In-depth knowledge – Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of market trends, competitors and Federal agencies’ needs in a mature yet evolving space.
• Strategic planning – creating and executing comprehensive marketing plans aligned with federal agency objectives, including target audience identification and messaging development.
• Thought leadership – Promote Ivanti’s solutions via presentations, blogs and events to generate awareness and interest.
• Platform, product, and solution messaging – Construct persuasive value-based messaging specific to the Federal Government that showcases our differentiation against key competitors in the space.
• Go-to-market expertise – Utilize strategic GTM tactics and partner with lifecycle marketing teams to reach our Federal Government audiences and illustrate how Ivanti can help them reach their goals.
• Content development – Create engaging content to drive understanding and decision-making for Federal buyers and doing so in collaboration with key Federal partners.
• Enablement – Partner with the sales enablement team to educate and empower our sales and partner networks.
To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have
• Have a deep understanding of the Federal Government market and have the ability to leverage this expertise in collaboration with external marketing agencies aligned to this segment.
• Have 5-7+ years in B2B product marketing for the Federal Government market in one or more IT and Security product categories and experience in:
o Establishing a clear understanding of customer needs and wants.
o Developing product positioning and messaging.
o Creating compelling marketing assets.
o Developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
o Identifying and monitoring competitive intelligence.
o Utilizing data to inform product development and marketing decisions.
o Managing product launches.
• Exhibit strong persuasive written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills (examples required).
• Understand and refine highly technical content for less-technical audiences.
• Influence and collaborate across organizational levels and departments.
• Prioritize tasks and focus on the most important ones first.
• Take initiative to identify and address problems and opportunities before they become an issue.
• Organize, plan, document tasks; negotiate deadlines; and monitor and track progress daily.
• Drive issues and tasks to timely closure.
It would be great if you have one or more of:
• Located in the DC area
• Experience in at least one IT/Security market for Unified Endpoint Management and/or Security, IT Service Management, Network Security
• Experience working with Carahsoft and other Federal channel partners
• Familiarity with FedRAMP certification process and marketing of
• Understanding of key regulations impacting the purchase and deployment of our technologies within the Federal space
• Multi-product solution development and marketing experience in new market categories
• Experience with SaaS solutions and transformation models
• Highly skilled at concise content creation
Salary Range:
$135,000 to $150,000 USD (based on experience, location, and qualification)
