For one of our clients, we are looking for a Benefits Coordinator (Temp), remotely from the United States.

In this temporary role, you will manage the administration of employee benefits, including new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and leaves. You will work closely with employees and vendors to address inquiries and ensure the accurate processing of payroll deductions, insurance contributions, and compliance with various regulations. You will support the overall benefits strategy by ensuring a smooth process for employees and keeping them informed of any benefits updates or changes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic team.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the administration of new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and COBRA.
  • Maintain records for short-term and long-term disability, workers' compensation, and FMLA leaves.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers and plan administrators.
  • Monitor reports from insurance carriers and administrators to ensure compliance with plan requirements.
  • Review and resolve disputes related to vendor invoices, and report on costs and fees.
  • Address inquiries from employees and vendors regarding benefits administration, eligibility, and coverage.
  • Ensure adherence to COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA regulations.

  • At least 1 year of experience in benefits plan management and coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Competitive hourly rate: $40 - $44 per hour.
