With Succession Path to Senior Leadership (CEO Track)

A leading global provider of flexible workspace solutions is seeking an ambitious, high-performing Executive Vice President to join their leadership team. This unique opportunity offers a clearly defined path to C-suite leadership for the right candidate, with potential progression to COO and ultimately CEO within 2-3 years.

The Company

Our client is a rapidly expanding service organization that operates hundreds of workspace locations across North America. With aggressive growth plans including 600+ new locations this year and 1,000-1,500 planned for next year, they offer an entrepreneurial culture despite their substantial size. This is a dynamic, sales-oriented organization with a fast-paced environment and short 30-day sales cycles.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Initially manage Chicago market operations, gaining deep understanding of the business model and operations
  • Transition to overseeing regional operations across multiple states
  • Drive operational excellence and financial performance across multiple locations
  • Build and develop high-performing teams
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives
  • Work closely with current CEO to prepare for potential succession
  • Proven experience managing multi-business units or multiple locations
  • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated business leadership
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to drive revenue growth
  • Analytical skills with ability to make quick, data-driven decisions
  • Resilience and "thick skin" to thrive in a direct, results-oriented culture
  • Hands-on leadership style with willingness to "roll up sleeves"
  • Aspiration for C-suite/CEO position within 2-3 years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in service-oriented industries
  • Multi-site management expertise (retail, hospitality, etc.)
  • Background managing construction projects or new location openings a plus

Location: Chicago/Midwest preferred (relocation assistance available)

Competitive compensation package including:

  • Base salary range: $300,000-$350,000
  • Performance bonus target of 50%
  • Long-term incentive plan with equity component
  • Comprehensive benefits package
