The Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) North Carolina is a network of eight tuition-free, college-preparatory public charter schools serving approximately 3,000 students in grades K-12 across Durham, Halifax, Northampton, and Mecklenburg counties. Your responsibilities as an Assistant Principal
KIPP NC Assistant Principals report to the Principal and are responsible for creating a positive, structured, disciplined school culture and for ensuring that students’ learning experiences are exciting and rigorous. The APs coordinate curricula and instructional content, coach teachers, assess student and teacher performance, and lead professional development. Our APs are also masters of content, experts in building relationships with families, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to holding high expectations.
