Part -Time Registered Nurse (Pre-Op/ PACU)

Riverside Eye Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated part-time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our exceptional team every Tuesday and Thursday.

• Active RN license in the State of Maine required.
• BLS is required. ACLS certification is a plus.
• 2+ years of RN experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a perioperative or related specialty setting preferred.
• Proficiency in IV placement and safe medication administration.
• Familiarity with operating room equipment and sterile procedures.
• Ability to work every Tuesday and Thursday.

• Hourly pay of $32-38 based on experience.

• Administer and monitor patient care during pre-op and post-op phases.
• Maintain accurate charting and detailed documentation.
• Provide customized pre-operative instructions and discharge education to patients.
• Safely place IVs, administer medications, and adhere to infection control policies.
• Anticipate and address the needs of patients with vision impairments and sedation.
• Participate in inventory maintenance, medication checks, and emergency preparedness.
