The Junior Compliance Analyst will assist in asset and inventory management, monitor representative activities, and investigate potential compliance risks. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with asset and inventory management to ensure operational compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in monitoring representative activities to identify and flag potential compliance concerns.
- Analyze data, identify red flags, and prepare detailed compliance reports.
- Participate in internal audits to evaluate adherence to asset management, financial regulations, and business practices.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance processes.
- Navigate high-pressure situations with professionalism, ensuring smooth communication and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 1 year plus of experience in compliance, operations, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Some coursework or foundational knowledge in financial law, regulations, and compliance is required (e.g., compliance, AML, privacy).
- Certification or coursework in compliance is preferred but not required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel; familiarity with Power BI is an asset.
