Position Overview

The Junior Compliance Analyst will assist in asset and inventory management, monitor representative activities, and investigate potential compliance risks. This role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to thrive under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with asset and inventory management to ensure operational compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist in monitoring representative activities to identify and flag potential compliance concerns.
  • Analyze data, identify red flags, and prepare detailed compliance reports.
  • Participate in internal audits to evaluate adherence to asset management, financial regulations, and business practices.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance processes.
  • Navigate high-pressure situations with professionalism, ensuring smooth communication and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year plus of experience in compliance, operations, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Some coursework or foundational knowledge in financial law, regulations, and compliance is required (e.g., compliance, AML, privacy).
  • Certification or coursework in compliance is preferred but not required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel; familiarity with Power BI is an asset.
  • Highly adaptable and thrives in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stress and maintain composure under pressure.
