The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

The mission of the Director of Enablement Role Excellence is to define and lead a robust, scalable enablement strategy that drives measurable impact across our global go-to-market (GTM) organization. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Enablement, this role is pivotal in aligning Sales, Marketing, Product, and Partner teams with a unified enablement strategy to enhance team performance and deliver consistent revenue growth.

In this position, you will own the design and execution of role excellence programs, empowering GTM teams with the tools, training, and processes necessary to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving health data landscape. You’ll establish KPIs to measure program success, ensure cross-functional alignment, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Looking back on your first 12-months at Komodo Health, you will have . . .

  • Created role-based competency maps and utilized them to develop key listening paths for all field facing, customer success and partner roles
  • Developed and executed against a strategy to roll out CMS areas focused on role based learning paths, seller process and methodology
  • Built an excellent working rapport with senior sales and product marketing leaders with a consultative approach to enabling outcomes
  • Created a learner innovation strategy focused on assessment of new learning tools / AI, while providing constant feedback and iteration of existing tools in partnership with our RevOps organization

These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for …

  • Collaborate across GTM teams to ensure enablement content and programs align with organizational goals.
  • Track and report enablement program success, iterating strategies based on feedback and performance data.
  • Partner with leadership to implement structured onboarding, skill development, and manager training programs.
  • Oversee enablement content creation and distribution, ensuring resources support sales, retention, and customer engagement goals.
  • Drive alignment across teams to ensure consistent execution of GTM motions, processes, and messaging.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a global role enablement strategy across our GTM organization aligned with the goals and revenue objectives of our GTM strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior GTM leadership to identify and prioritize enablement initiatives, ensuring alignment across functional teams.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure adoption of tools, processes, and methodologies.

Program Development:

  • Build and maintain a structured role competency roadmap with clear goals, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Create structured, role-based everboarding plans, including defined performance milestones.
  • Design and implement first-line manager development programs to enhance coaching and leadership capabilities.
  • Develop sales and customer retention playbooks tailored by role and stage in the customer lifecycle.

Content and Training:

  • Partner with GTM leadership and Product Marketing to develop and deliver training programs focused on role mastery.
  • Create and manage high-impact sales collateral, including presentations, case studies, value propositions, and competitive differentiation, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Oversee the curation and maintenance of enablement content, keeping resources up-to-date and easily accessible.

Operational Excellence:

  • Map sales processes to customer buying journeys, identifying opportunities to increase conversion rates and reduce sales cycles.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to establish metrics and reporting frameworks for tracking GTM team productivity and enablement program ROI.
  • Regularly analyze performance data to identify gaps and refine enablement strategies.

Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, Product, and Partner teams, ensuring alignment of enablement initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Foster collaboration between GTM teams to standardize best practices and ensure consistent execution of enablement programs.

Event Management:

  • Collaborate with GTM and Revenue Enablement functions on the planning and execution of key GTM events, including sales meetings and revenue kickoff sessions, ensuring alignment and engagement across all customer-facing teams.

What you bring to Komodo Health (required):

Experience and Expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience in GTM or sales enablement, ideally in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing enablement programs that drive measurable improvements in sales productivity and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS GTM motions, including enterprise sales, partner-led strategies, and customer expansion models.
  • Experience implementing and driving adoption of sales tools and methodologies, including Salesforce.com.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders, from operational teams to executive leadership.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and metrics-driven program assessment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a knack for navigating ambiguity.
  • Passion for coaching and empowering teams to excel, with deep empathy for customer-facing roles.

Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…

  • Experience in sales, customer success, or partner-facing roles, with a strong understanding of their unique challenges and needs.
  • Knowledge of data, and cloud technologies, and how it applies to the life sciences space.
  • Expertise in change management and fostering organizational adoption of new tools and processes.

Compensation at Komodo Health

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.
$180,000$250,000 USD

Where You’ll Work

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
