About the role

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on GL accountant who will be responsible for the general ledger accounting including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of financial statements and accounts, and maintenance of balance sheet schedules. This role will ensure data accuracy and will assist with the month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities

 • Enter financial data and transactions into the ledger

 • Maintains the accuracy of the general ledger

 • Reconciles and maintains balance sheet accounts.

 • Performs account analysis, cost accruals, and bank reconciliations

 • Review financial documents for accuracy and reconcile accounts

 • Analyze financial data and provide financial recommendations

 • Prepare and issue sales tax filings

 • Perform federal and state tax calculations and filings

 • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements

 • Assure compliance and accuracy to our financial statements by performing checks as part of our internal processes

Qualifications

 • 3-5 years of experience in a related accounting role

 • Knowledge of Netsuite (ERP) will be considered a plus

 • Strong analytical skills

 • Effective problem-solving skills to identify and correct financial discrepancies

 • Technical accounting skills

 • Knowledge of accounting standards

 • Ability to work on a team and independently

 • Excellent spoken and written English

 • Enthusiastic hands-on and can-do mentality

 • Strong team player able to work under stress

 • Attention to detail

 • Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and meet deadlines

Other considerations:

- You must have the right to work and live in the US without sponsorship

- Salary range: base salary between 90K and 115K USD, depending on experience/skills
